The Get-Right! Organization, Inc. (Get-Right!)

Get-Right! was administratively dissolved and its networks disbanded, however all work related to both has been folded into the mission of XAS Consulting, LLC DBA XiomaraASosa.com

A social change advocacy nonprofit organization founded by Xiomara A. Sosa in 2010. Get-Right! empowers families to cultivate healthy lifestyles that promote positive mental health and physical health by educating families about mental health and physical health issues; teaching children how to effectively cope with mental health and physical health challenges, and supporting mental health and physical health education initiatives in all communities across America.

Get-Right!’s mission is to educate families, teach children, and support communities about integrative wellness.

Get-Right! envisions a country where families experience the joy and peace of living a lifestyle that promotes good mental health and physical health.

Get-Right! serves families, children and communities.

Get-Right! is culturally competent and inclusive of Hispanic, veterans, and sexual/gender minority (LGBT+) families.

Get-Right! is comprehensive and integrative in its approach and we serve families, children, and communities.

Through Get-Right!’s three core work areas, LEARN, TEACH, SUPPORT, Get-Right! educates families, teaches children, and supports communities about mental health and physical health issues by offering them an informative digital platform that enables them to learn about and get involved in their own mental health and physical health care.

LEARN – Educating Families: Get-Right! educates families about mental health and physical health issues.

TEACH – Teaching Children: Get-Right! teaches children how to effectively cope with mental health and physical health challenges.

SUPPORT – Supporting Communities: Get-Right! supports mental health and physical health education initiatives in all communities across America.

The Get-Right! Advocacy Networks:

Why Get-Right!?

Mental health in America has been plagued by unfounded negative stigma and continues to be a very real barrier to getting help and information. That is why Get-right! is committed to fighting against stigma as part of its mission by partnering with other organizations in support of ending stigma about mental health and physical health in America. Get-Right! works with other organizations across the United States to raise awareness about mental health and physical health issues and that support community initiatives that address these issues.

Today’s families are overstressed and under-supported in so many ways. So many families are at a loss about what mental health is, and do not know much about basic physical health. In addition to old-fashioned and incorrect information about it, they also deal with negative stigma. So many people can not afford to seek out basic information due to personal finances or insurance issues. It is fantastic that many families do want to make changes to improve their overall health and only need easy access to useful information in a safe way. Get-Right! wants to make learning and implementing this information an easy, inexpensive, positive experience for families. Mental health and physical health should be a good and positive part of life that makes people feel good. Attitudes and lifestyles are formed at a very young age, therefore when children are provided information and opportunities they always do their best to make better choices for themselves and their own families.
